mom & child

He started school this morning,
And he seemed very eager going.
As mom walked there beside him
Accompanying him till the school

And as he entered the place
Seeing the others in the class,
He is excited to join their company
Bit bye to mom, and joined a new world.

Mom Remembers him,as
He first learned how to walk.
The first words he alone made out
When he began to talk.

The days he used to cry for mom,
All the time playing with mom,
When his world was only dad & mom,
Has a entered a new world,bidding bye to mom...

Oh how she longed to stay with him
And keep him by the hand
To lead him through the places
That he couldn’t understand.

But, she must share her little one
With new friends and a new world to play
He’s no more a baby in her hands–
He’s in Kindergarten today......
